While you drive, Raudio prepares a news bulletin made for you. Raudio is provided by FIST Teknoloji Limited Şirketi. This page explains in plain language what we do with your data for that purpose. For the detailed legal text, see the Data Protection Notice.

In short

• We collect only the data needed for the service; you can leave everything optional blank.
• We do not sell your data, do not share it for advertising, and do not track you across other apps or websites. That is why we do not ask for tracking permission (ATT).
• Your Home and Work locations stay on your device. Your current location is not sent to our servers; it is sent only to Apple, for the weather.
• To analyze your listening habits (together with your city), you must tick the optional box in the sign-up form or turn it on in Settings; to send you e-mails, you must give separate permission. Both are off by default.
• You can view, correct and download your data at any time, and delete it together with your account.

What we collect

• Account: e-mail, password (stored in unreadable form), first and last name, and optionally your mobile phone number (if you give it, it is used only as an extra check for recovering your account when you forget your password; if you do not, you recover your account with the code sent to your e-mail alone; no calls are made and no SMS is sent). If you sign in with Apple, the information Apple shares.
• Profile (optional): the name we address you by, last name, city (used to offer you nearby content, to see which cities our users come from and to plan campaigns; you can clear and delete it from the profile card), gender and form of address (how you want the bulletin to speak to you), how many days a week you drive and your typical driving time.
• Preferences: topics, custom topics, bulletin length and style, Smart Routine setting, the sections you saved.
• Security: for sign-up and password-reset requests, a one-way encrypted digest of your e-mail and network address and the time of the request; kept to prevent abuse and deleted within 24 hours at the latest.
• Only if you give permission: which section you finished or skipped; also which topic you listened to and for how long (for the "En Sevdiğin Konular", "Your Favorite Topics", card), which is kept only on your phone and deleted when you turn the permission off.

Location

Location is used on your device only when you say "Konumumu kullan" ("Use my location"), while calculating route time and while a bulletin plays with voice alerts on. Apple Maps is used for address search and route calculation. When the weather is shown for your journey, the coordinates of your current location and, if any, your destination are sent to Apple's weather service (WeatherKit); they do not reach us, and the result is stored on your device for 6 hours. If voice alerts are on, the text of the alert (for example the name of your destination or a nearby car park) is sent to be turned into speech and is not stored; coordinates are not sent with this text.

Artificial intelligence and synthetic voice

Bulletins are written by artificial intelligence and read in a synthetic voice. Google Gemini writes the bulletin text and ElevenLabs produces the voice. These services receive your topic names, publicly available news text, the custom topic text you add and, if the bulletin will address you, the name and form of address you chose. Your e-mail address, last name and user ID are not sent. Artificial intelligence can summarize news incorrectly; check important information at its source.

Notifications

Notification permission is requested only when you turn on Smart Routine and is used only to remind you that your bulletin is ready.

Service providers and transfers abroad

Your data is stored on Supabase (servers are in Frankfurt, Germany). Google Gemini is used for artificial intelligence, ElevenLabs for speech, Resend for e-mail confirmation, Apple for sign-in, maps and weather, and Google Suggest and Google News for topic suggestions and current news. All of these providers are outside Türkiye; therefore your data is transferred abroad. Which data goes to whom and the legal basis for the transfer are described in detail in sections 5 and 6 of the Data Protection Notice.

Age limit

Raudio is not directed at children. If you are below the age rating stated on the App Store, do not use Raudio. If you are under 18, turn on preferences that require permission only with the approval of your parent or legal guardian.

How to use your rights

From the profile card in Settings you can view and correct your data, change your two preferences under "Tercihlerin" ("Your preferences"), download your data with "Verilerimi indir" ("Download my data") and delete your account with "Hesabı sil" ("Delete account"). When you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted from our servers. Bulletins (text and audio) are deleted automatically within 7 days at the latest, together with their bookmarked sections; text copies you saved with "Bülteni kaydet" ("Save bulletin") (up to 50) are deleted automatically 90 days after saving, unless you delete them earlier. Your data is kept as long as your account is open.
